Anima Youth CIC
Anima Youth is a community organisation with a mission to empower at-risk girls and young women from marginalised backgrounds. They support these young women to build resilience, foster positive perceptions of their future, and navigate the challenges they face, with the goal of creating positive change in their lives and communities and ensuring a smooth transition into independent life.
Anima Youth uses a strengths-based approach, supporting young women to identify and build on their strengths rather than focusing on their weaknesses. Their mission is to support marginalised girls and young women in building resilience, fostering positive perceptions of their future, overcoming challenges, and creating positive change in their lives and communities, ultimately helping them transition into independent life.
The vision of the organisation is for all marginalised girls to develop into empowered adults who live fulfilled and sustained lives. To date, Anima Youth has directly supported over 4,300 young people through direct work and has reached 6,000 young people through both direct work and online support.
Anima Youth continues its work with at-risk girls and young women from marginalised backgrounds, empowering them to overcome challenges and build better futures for themselves and their communities.
