Believe Achieve CIC
Believe Achieve CIC encourages young people to be the best they can be by providing innovative activities, unique experiences, and high-quality enterprise programmes. The organisation is based in Farnworth and works with young people aged 8-12 years, 13-17 years, and up to 25 years, including those with disabilities.
They create opportunities for children and young people to be active and creative by delivering sports and arts programmes in collaboration with young people. These programmes support learning, development, and employability while helping them develop as productive individuals. Believe Achieve CIC aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment for young people of all abilities and backgrounds, with a view to promoting personal, social, and educational development and making Farnworth a great place to grow up.
A well-established, multi-purpose, voluntary sector organisation, Believe Achieve CIC is firmly rooted in the local community. Their centre is home to many intercultural and inter-generational groups, and the organisation promotes diversity by bringing together people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. They also support those who endeavour to make the Farnworth area a more united, healthier, and happier place to live, with a focus on the environment and improving biodiversity.
They have provided significant support by delivering over 14,000, helping to feed 292 families weekly. They offer food parcels for delivery or pickup at designated times from their youth club. In addition, the organisation serves as an IT Centre and Data Bank for Farnworth, helping people stay connected and online by offering free data, internet, and devices provided by major UK networks such as O2, Vodafone, and 3G.
