STEP NOW is a youth-led organisation transforming the well-being of young people facing a plethora of social barriers, and guiding them into life-changing opportunities that propel them into positive futures away from poverty, unemployment, crime and violence.
Their vision is of a new society where every young person recognises their self-worth, exhibits resilience and has the mindset, knowledge and tools to successfully step into adulthood. They achieve this by educating and empowering young people through innovative mentoring that focuses on alternative learning methods and building trust-based relationships.
They employ the power of relatability, the art of creative visual role-play along with networks and experiences to remove social and inter-generational barriers and traumas, and equip young people with the mindset, knowledge and tools to successfully STEP into adulthood.
